At Key Sounds UK we have grown from 0-30+ students in the last 2.5 years ranging from complete beginners to advanced students. In addition to this we have been able to maintain a 97% pass rate with one of the most well known and successful exam boards, The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM).

Our aim is to ensure students of all ages and abilities are fully prepared for any challenge that comes there way. We continuously aim to help our students grow through a variation of activities and exercises in order to enhance their learning in the most enjoyable way possible (and still achieve high results)! Every term we aim to set goals to guarantee success for each and every individual. Whether it’s to sit an exam or to play a song they love, we’ll do our best to meet their targets and aim them in the best possible direction. So far we have noticed that the more enjoyable the activity the more likely the students are to retain and understand the information required to progress onto the next level.

Reshmi’s Journey

Reshmi musical journey began at a young age, having started by learning the trumpet at the age of 8 years old in which she progressed rapidly. Two years later, she took on the piano which became a lifelong passion, something she would go on to thrive in and also help others to explore too.
Reshmi states that music is soul-soothing, and that it has taught her many skills including discipline, resilience and patience but most of all it has provided a platform to express herself, through concertos, composing and reciting musical pieces.
Over ten years later, Reshmi’s musical success is exemplified her qualifications, currently holding the ABRSM Trumpet Grade 8, Piano Grade 6 and Music Theory Grade 5 and also through the awards she has achieved for her talent. This includes holding the title of ‘Best Concert Band in the London Borough of Barnet’ for 2015, 2016 and 2017 with her band as well as The Annual ‘Musician of the Year Award 2016 & 2017’ a testament to her hard work and the success she has obtained at such a young age.
It was after these awards that she began teaching, and grew her services rapidly with a great success rate with her students, noticing that the more enjoyable the activity, the more likely the students are to retain and understand the information required to progress onto the next level.
Reshmi has also performed at several prestigious events and venues including the Royal Albert Hall, London Marathon 2018 and also regularly performs at weddings, corporate events and parties.

Reshmi would also like to thank those who have helped her on her musical journey;
‘Thank you to everyone who has supported me on this journey. I am fortunate to have been surrounded by many talented musicians who have taught me a range of skills and steered me in a direction which allows me to pass on this talent to the next generation of musicians. I am eternally grateful and look forward to working with you more over the next few years.’
